Hello and welcome to my art studio!
My name is Alia and I am a Brisbane based artist and illustrator. I am a multi-disciplinary artist who works with oils, acrylics, watercolour and clay. I love observing the world around me and find inspiration on my travels. Peaceful scenes, interesting colour combinations and animals in motion fascinate me. Thus, I love to paint landscapes, animals and recently flowers.
I am also a ceramicist making cute ceramic and porcelain items to hopefully bring a bit of joy and fun to our lives. I particularly enjoy making one-of-a-kind sculptures and trinket trays.
I have a dog named Teddy who I try to take wherever I go (if possible). He just loves to chill and is the ultimate lap dog. He is extremely shy though so please don't be offended if he backs away when you first meet him. He will be sniffing your heels when you turn away. ^_^
2025 Update - I started to sell my art in my online store - I also stock at Hikari Cafe in Sunnybank Hills and Kazuyo's Collection in West End. I now offer live event illustration services, offer private watercolour workshop and from time to time host small art pop ups collaborating with Froggy Hollow. I will continue to participate in art markets and hope to see you at one of my future events.
